From the Bernina Express, we arrived in Tirano, Italy, where we spent one night. As we did every morning before heading to our next destination, we had a cuppa coffee. The coffee is so, so good in Italy!
Next, we headed to Florence, where we celebrated my 70th birthday, visited museums and sculptures, and even bought myself a bathing suit (which I had planned on using for our next adventures in Turkey).
Again, train cancelations, detours, and busses lengthened our travel day by several hours. We were so ready to settle down in Florence. I shared a video of our beautiful gigs with you (now weeks ago;). Here are some more shots of our time in Florence.
